Create a NVMe/TCP endpoint

Unisphere provides monitoring and management for Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe/TCP) directors, NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system running PowerMaxOS 10 (6079).
  2. Select System > iSCSI+NVMe and click NVME tab to open the NVMe dashboard.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • From the Actions panel, click Create NVMe/TCP Endpoint.
    • Click NVMe/TCP Endpoints (Attached or Unattached) and click Create.
  4. Select a director from the drop-down menu.
  5. Type a value for the Network ID.
    Valid values range from 1 through 16383.
  6. Type a value for the TCP Port.
    Default value is 4420. Valid values range from 1 through 65535.
  7. Optional: Enter a value for the Endpoint Name.
  8. Click OK.
